AutoPAC

Basic Autopac is mandatory for all vehicle insurance in Manitoba. The "Basic" coverage includes All Perils, Personal Injury and Third Party Liability.

All Perils $500 Deductible + Third Party Liability limit of $200,000 (minimum amount required by law in MB) = Basic Autopac.

Enhanced coverages as follows:

•     Lower All Perils Deductibles:  $300, $200 & $100 are available.
•     Increased Third Party Liability limits:  $1,000,000, $2,000,000 & $5,000,000.
•     Auto Loss of Use: Level 1 and Level 2

Though Manitoba has "No Fault" insurance, the "Basic" Third Party Liability limit of $200,000 may be insufficient as per the following two scenarios:

•     Property Damage:  What if you collided with a building or traffic light?
•     Third Party Liability:  What if you injured someone or several people while travelling in another Province or in the USA?  Depending on the jurisdiction, you may be involved in a substantial Bodily Injury lawsuit.

Team insurance Brokers highly recommends the Third Party Liability limit of $5,000,000.

 
Drivers Licences

Driver's Licenses now have the same renewal date as your vehicle registration which renews 4 months less a day after your birthday and are issued at Team Insurance Brokers.
